While her children were small Nancy volunteered in the community:  Junior League, PTSA, Brownie Leader, and later on many Boards:  Junior League, PTSA, Pre Trial Release, Downtown Development Corporation,  Baden Street Settlement, Family Service’s Awareness Theater, Grantmakers’ Forum, The Toy Library.  Since the 80’s she has been a founder in the formation of four non profits:  Project Intervention ( a drug and alcohol education awareness non profit for educators), The American Friends of the Episcopal Church of Sudan (becoming its first Executive Director), The Rochester Area Interfaith Hospitality Network and Water for Sudan.  Nancy loves being President of RAIHN as she feels a vital part of each family’s reconnection to stability, economic recovery and good healthy environment for children.

Currently Nancy has three  great passions:  her grandchildren….Adelaide (4) and Lucie (2), RAIHN and Sudan as a Board member of Water for South Sudan.  Hobbies and interests:  downhill skiing, reading, cooking, knitting,  and relaxing at her  summer cottage on Lake Ontario.
